Here is an excerpt from Chris’s website on his release:
“Following Chris’s previous EP release, time spent writing and performing at festivals and gigs, Chris is now proud to announce that his latest,
all-original work is being released on 28th April, 2016. This CD will be available to purchase directly and will also be for digital download on
most popular online music stores and outlets.
Chris has been developing his music career from an early age and extending it through studying music and technology at Leicester’s De
Montfort University. Having performed many years at Glastonbudget, supported Joan Armatrading on her local talent tour, supported the 3
Daft Monkeys, Martin Barre, Yes Sir Boss and fronted the Mama Stones house band in Exeter, now comes the album. The new album has a
rockier feel from the earlier EP and has a full 6 piece supporting band bringing real depth and clarity.
The launch gig with Chris Ostler and band is in his hometown, Exeter, at the Timepiece venue on Thursday 28th April. The celebrations kick off
at 8:30 with his supporting act, ‘Dead.Ground’ followed by Chris at 9:30 launching the album to a flying start. Tickets for the gig are available
via his website, the venue and on the door. Chris is looking forward to an evening of sharing great music with ‘great people’. Do join him – Chris
Ostler, has the sort of voice you want to hear for its power, range and versatility and want to come back for more every time. He brings a
creative approach that really loads his songs with a range of melodies, full of dynamic energy. He also enjoys sharing the emotions that make
up each of his songs within his lively performances.”
